Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Almenares Equipment Sales! We're thrilled you're considering us for your equipment needs. These Terms & Conditions outline how we work together, keeping things clear and fair for everyone.
1. Our Commitment to You: We strive to provide accurate descriptions, transparent pricing, and excellent service for all the used equipment we sell. Our goal is to make your purchasing experience as smooth as possible.
2. Equipment Sales: All equipment is sold "as-is, where-is" unless otherwise specified in your individual purchase agreement. We encourage and welcome pre-purchase inspections to ensure your complete satisfaction.
3. Pricing & Payment: Prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise agreed upon. We'll provide clear invoices for all transactions. Please note: We do not process credit card payments directly. Payment methods will be discussed and agreed upon during the sales process (e.g., wire transfer, bank check). All payments must be cleared before equipment release.
4. Shipping, Documentation, and Port Charges: As experienced exporters, we're here to help you arrange all necessary logistics, including inland and ocean freight, and ensure proper documentation.
While we assist with these arrangements, please be aware that certain charges may apply for preparing your equipment for export and getting it to the port. These can include:
Drayage/Inland Transport: Costs to move the equipment from its current location to the designated export port (e.g., Port of Miami or Port Everglades).
Port Terminal Handling Charges (THC): Fees charged by the port for handling the equipment, loading it onto the vessel, and other terminal services.
Documentation Fees: Costs associated with preparing necessary export documents like the Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and any other required paperwork for international shipping.
Customs Clearance Fees: While we handle the export customs formalities from the U.S. side, there can be fees associated with the filing and processing of export declarations.
Loading and Securing: Depending on the type of equipment, there may be charges for specialized loading, blocking, bracing, or securing the equipment onto trailers or into containers for safe transport.
We will clearly outline any applicable charges related to shipping and documentation to the port in your customized quotation. The ultimate responsibility for ocean freight costs, customs duties, import taxes, and any charges at the destination port rests with the buyer.
5. Documentation: We will provide all necessary documentation to facilitate the legal transfer of ownership and export of the equipment. We ask for your cooperation in providing any required information to complete these documents accurately.
6. Your Responsibility: By proceeding with a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the equipment's description, inspected the equipment (or waived the right to do so), and agree to the payment and shipping terms.
7. Governing Law: These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
8. Have Questions? We're always here to help! If you have any questions about our equipment, the sales process, or these terms, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team. We prefer open communication to ensure your peace of mind.
